Animals Topic

We may not be able to visit the zoo to get up close to the amazing animals we are learning about, but here are some links to our UK zoos, and a fun range of activities.

Learning with London and Whipsnade Zoo
ZSL have set up a range of learning resources about animals

Paignton Zoo
The zookeepers at Paignton Zoo have created some exciting online lessons in their "School from the Zoo" - these can be watched via Teams each week - simply clilck the link to register and be reminded when the lesson is due to start.

Webcams at Edinburgh Zoo
Some wonderful cameras set up in the homes of penguins, koalas, tigers, lions, pandas and monkeys - how many will you see?

Dublin Zoo Webcams
Heading over to Dublin, they have fantastic insights into the lives of elephants and penguins, or you can head to the savannah to look for giraffes, zebras, ostrich, rhinos and the extremely rare oryx.
