We are learning a new phonic sound each day and consolidating our work on letters and sounds. We are learning to form out letters correctly using the Kinetic Letters programme. Each day we are learning about numbers and have a focus number of the day ‘I am …4’ and we are counting, ordering and representing these numbers. We are learning about the shapes all around us.
Reading books will be changed on a Friday- Please ensure your child has their reading books and reading diary in that day.
We have many ideas in our homework challenge sheet to support the topic learning that we are doing in school. We hope that you enjoy working together to complete some of the challenges and look forward to sharing the examples in our show and tell later this term.
Look at what we have been up to so far this term............
‘What a super term we have had so far in Finland class, as well as getting to know each other through our topic of ‘Ourselves’ we have begun to learn all about the different jobs that we could do when we grow up. We are also enjoying exploring outdoor learning and counting the different autumn objects that we can find in our school ground.
